Longyearbyen lokalstyre (LL) har et overordnet ansvar for å ivareta innbyggerne og besøkendes trygghet i en krisesituasjon, og neste uke skal vi øve på dette.
Torsdag 7. september skal vi øve på å opprette et Evakuerte- og pårørendesenter (EPS) i Svalbardhallen, for mottak av inntil 200 personer.
Øvelsen er en samspilløvelse for politiet, LL og Røde kors.
Det vil ikke bli benyttet markører i øvelsen.
Denne øvelsen betyr at Svalbardhallen i sin helhet er stengt for publikum fra klokken 08:30 til cirka klokken 15:00.

Longyearbyen lokalstyre (LL) has an overarching responsibility to ensure the safety of residents and visitors in a crisis situation, and next week we will be practicing for this.
On Thursday, September 7th, we will be practicing the establishment of an Evacuation and Relatives Center (EPS) in Svalbardhallen, capable of accommodating up to 200 people.
The exercise is a joint operation involving the police, LL, and the Red Cross.
No markers will be used in the exercise.
This exercise means that Svalbardhallen will be closed to the public in its entirety from 08:30 until approximately 15:00.
