Announcement of commencement and consultation on the planning program for sub-plan D65 - Lower Mining Valley

The purpose of the plan is to replace large parts of the housing stock.

The planning area covers approx. 35 daa and is located in lower Gruvedalen. The area is bordered by road 232 to the north and the cableway route to the south, while to the west it is bordered by Blåmyra and the buildings within field B9 in the area plan. The planning area extends to just beyond the cableway route in the northwest.

The planning work covers the properties gnr/bnr: 22/1,39,42,50,40,41,504-514.

The proposal has been submitted by Store Norske Boliger (SNB).

The planning consultant is AT Arkitektur AS.

The purpose of the plan

The purpose of the proposed plan is to replace the current dilapidated, landslide-prone, and outdated housing stock through the development of the plan area for residential purposes, parking areas, outdoor recreation areas, and necessary upgrades to traffic and infrastructure areas. The plan involves the demolition of most existing buildings within the plan area and the subsequent construction of new residential buildings for up to 165 residential units. The apartment sizes will be divided between 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments, with the largest proportion being family apartments with 3 or more rooms. The current technical infrastructure will be completely or partially replaced or upgraded. The same applies to access roads and internal roads.
