Operations technicians:

Longyearbyen Local Council has an operations technician on call all year round.

If you see that doors or windows to any of our buildings (school, kindergarten, etc.) are open, we would appreciate it if you could call us.
Please also call if you have borrowed/rented any of our buildings and there is a fault that needs to be reported or repaired.

Employees in LL housing should contact the on-call service in the event of major faults with the property that they cannot resolve themselves or cannot wait until working hours. (For example, leaks, faults in electrical systems, frozen pipes, etc.) Do not call the maintenance technicians for water locks, blocked food waste disposers, and other issues related to cleaning. In the event of repeated call-outs to residents, an emergency call-out fee will be considered.
