Culture, sports, and leisure

Longyearbyen has a diverse and active cultural and sporting life tailored to different target groups and needs. The Longyearbyen Local Council wants to help promote and strengthen inclusive cultural, sporting, and leisure activities.

The purpose of the unit is to manage the cultural, leisure, and sports activities of the Longyearbyen Local Council. We will facilitate voluntary cultural work and help to create activities that are as inclusive as possible in terms of age groups, interests, and needs.
