Longyearbyen Kindergartens consists of two kindergartens:
Kullungen Kindergarten and Polarflokken Kindergarten.
Both offer full-day kindergarten places for children aged 1-6 years
from two/three to five days per week.

Please note that from August 1, 2022,
Longyearbyen will have its own regulations for the Kindergarten Act. The regulations for kindergarten operations in Longyearbyen define which parts of the Kindergarten Act apply in Longyearbyen, and we would like to draw your attention to the fact that Section 31 of the Kindergarten Act, which deals with the right to special educational assistance, does not apply in Longyearbyen for children starting after September 1, 2022.
