Summer storage of scooters and equipment

Spring arrived suddenly this year, and even though some people are clinging to the forecast of sub-freezing temperatures, there is now a reminder for everyone regarding scooter parking before summer.

If you plan to store your snowmobile outdoors for the summer, snowmobiles, sleds, skids, and other equipment must be neatly arranged, clearly marked with your name and phone number, protected from the wind, and placed on pallets or similar supports.

It is important not to park in a way that obstructs emergency vehicles, waste collection, snow plowing, or snow dumping, and parking is not permitted in car parking spaces or in front of substations and technical installations. Jerry cans, whether containing fuel or not, must be stored at least 10 meters away from walls and flammable materials.

For more information and a map of areas designated for scooter parking, see the local environment page.

Are you done with your entire scooter? Then we remind you that private individuals can receive a scrap deposit by delivering the scooter to the recycling center. You can find more information about this on the waste collection page.
