2026 Activities Fair—Discover the Leisure Activities in Longyearbyen

On Thursday, August 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., everyone is invited to the Activity Fair at Longyearbyen Kulturhus. The town’s volunteer organizations, clubs, and associations will gather here to showcase their activities and inspire new members to get involved.

Are you looking for a new hobby, interested in volunteering, or want to learn more about the activities available in Longyearbyen?

This year, the fair will be held on Thursday, August 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kulturhuset. The event is usually held at Svalbardhallen, but due to renovation work, this year’s fair has been moved to Longyearbyen Kulturhus.

Throughout the evening, you can visit the booths of the town’s many volunteer organizations, clubs, and associations. Here you can learn more about the activities they offer and perhaps find your next leisure activity. Whether you’re new to Longyearbyen or have lived here for a long time, the Activity Fair is a great opportunity to discover what Longyearbyen has to offer.
