Temporary closure of the pedestrian street between the Radisson Blu Polar Hotel and Kulturhuset

Due to the installation of a culvert at the snow dump, the pedestrian street will be closed to all traffic from Monday evening, August 31, through Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Access during the construction period:

• Pedestrian street: Closed to all through traffic. The area will be signposted and cordoned off.
• Pedestrians: Please use the alternate route via Hilmar Rekstens vei. Follow the posted signs.
• Entrance to the daycare center: Will remain open as usual, but access must be via Road 229 (Polar Hotel).
• The entrance to the Gruve 7 daycare center is not affected.
