The funeral of King Harald V on September 9 at Svalbard Church

The Svalbard Church, in collaboration with the Longyearbyen Local Council, invites you to the church to watch the funeral on a big screen.

The live stream begins at 12:00 p.m. when King Harald’s casket is carried in a procession from the Royal Palace to Oslo Cathedral. The funeral begins at 1:00 p.m.

After the funeral, the Store Norske Mandskor will sing a final song in honor of the king.

You are also welcome to sign the book of condolences and light a candle.
