Invoicing of road tolls in 2022

The Longyearbyen local government will soon be invoicing road tolls for 2022, and in connection with this, we would like to provide vehicle owners with information about the basis for invoicing.
The invoice will be sent to the person registered as the owner of the vehicle in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's database as of January 1, 2022.
Have you sold or purchased a vehicle after January 1, 2022? Please note that the previous owner must arrange payment with the new owner.
If you sold the vehicle before January 1, 2022, but still receive an invoice for road tolls, you must check the following:
- Has a notice of sale been sent to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration/Sysselmesteren?
- Has the new owner re-registered the vehicle?
If you receive an incorrect invoice from us, please contact us so that we can correct any errors before the case is sent to debt collection.
