When should you go to the meeting point?

The meeting point is used when the telephone and internet are down, in one of the following situations:

• You need to contact the police, ambulance, fire department, or Longyearbyen local government.
• You need information from public authorities.

Notifying emergency services

At the cultural center, you will be able to meet representatives from the Longyearbyen local government who can alert the emergency services about your situation.
